"Winning Brawl"

Also, according to this source... (https://n-styles.com/main/archives/2001/11/21-144600.php)

In addition, there was a separate event: a "winning brawl" (「勝ち抜き大乱闘」).

Any person could participate alone, and again there is no special entrance fee.

Prizes:
If a player won two matches, they won a Super Smash Bros. Melee design bandana. In addition, according to this article, some players also got a Super Smash Bros. Melee T-shirt.

I've found a T-shirt, but I was unable to confirm whether it was first-party. Buy at your own risk.
